Effective December 1, 2007, the CBOT BPS Service Fee of $1.50 will be reduced to $0.25 for both CBOT firms and brokers.

Currently, CBOT firms are charged $1.50 per broker earning $25 or more in brokerage and CBOT brokers are charged $1.50 for each firm paying $25 or more in brokerage.  This service fee reduction will now parallel the BPS service fee for CME trading activity for the new tax year going forward.
